Writing problems ?! When do you sound the alarm bell?

After applying the interventions from EHBS that fit the identified writing problem, the child needs time to automate. Many children will subsequently master the correct writing technique thanks to this efficient, systematic approach. Each child has its own pace in this. Automation is a gradual process in which the skill keeps getting faster and better. The last step in this is to apply what they have learned to all skills and assignments.

Children who have problems with automation need to think over and over how to do the task. to do. It also requires correction. This requires a lot of energy from them, but also from teachers and parents. My advice is therefore: Is there no improvement 4-6 weeks after applying your interventions? Then refer.

Handles can be given for this within child physiotherapy and occupational therapy. The cause of the writing problem is investigated and an appropriate plan is drawn up.
